Privacy Policy

This policy covers weboflife.in and shop.weboflife.in (“our sites”), operated by Web of Life Design Lab, Hyderabad, India. It explains what information we handle when you visit, browse, or get in touch, and how our use of Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google services fits into that.
Information you provide to us
Our enquiry form (weboflife.in/contact) asks for your name, phone, email, and message. That information is used only to pre-fill a WhatsApp message, which opens in your own WhatsApp app for you to review and send. We do not receive, store, or process this form data on our own servers — nothing is submitted to us until you choose to send that WhatsApp message yourself. From that point, the conversation is a normal WhatsApp chat between you and Web of Life, governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy practices for that conversation.
Every “Enquire” or “WhatsApp” link across both sites works the same way: it opens a WhatsApp conversation directly. We do not operate a checkout, account system, or payment collection on either site — all sales are agreed directly, by conversation.
Information collected automatically
weboflife.in uses Google Analytics (GA4) in a restricted, PII-safe configuration: page views and a small set of enumerated events (for example, that an enquiry was started, and for which general category of work — never the name, phone, email, or message you typed). Google Signals and ad-personalisation signals are switched off; analytics storage is used only for aggregate measurement, not advertising.
Both sites use the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement, connected to our Meta Business account. It records page views, product views on shop.weboflife.in (tied to the specific product viewed, never to you personally by name), and when someone starts a WhatsApp enquiry. This helps us understand which pieces generate interest and measure the performance of any Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising we run. It does not collect names, phone numbers, or message content.
Standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and device type) is processed by Google and Meta as part of operating these measurement tools, under their own privacy policies.
Cookies
Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel each set their own cookies to support the measurement described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time; doing so does not prevent you from browsing either site or reaching us on WhatsApp.
Our catalogue and Meta integration
shop.weboflife.in maintains a product catalogue that we also supply to Meta (Facebook/Instagram) for catalogue advertising. This shares product information — images, titles, descriptions, prices — that is already public on our website. It does not include any personal information about visitors.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data to anyone.
- We do not collect payment card details on either site — no checkout exists.
- We do not require an account, login, or password to browse or enquire.
Data retention
Because the enquiry form never reaches our servers, we hold no copy of it by default. Where a WhatsApp conversation leads to an order, we keep only what is reasonably needed to fulfil that order and for our own business records. Aggregate analytics data is retained under Google’s and Meta’s standard platform retention periods for measurement purposes.
