The narrative
Representing a graceful feminine figure taking a leap forward, this sculpture is an ode to the strong women who have been suppressed in the society but stood up for themselves through all circumstances. To achieve the fluidity of the structure, this piece was cut and hand drawn with a contrasting finish on both sides; a smooth texture on one side and rough uneven bumps on the other- metaphorically depicting the unknown battles fought in the past but the bold face that is put forward. Attraversiamo- To cross over.
