Artwork Concept

This console table is handcrafted with no additional support from the wooden platform, extending onto two granite boulders on each end. Further, the workability of this sculpture is calculated, cut to match the wood and interlocked on either ends, portraying continuation. It is carefully sculpted to look more like a natural extension rather than an additional support, created to balance it as a whole. It is also equipped with a natural extension on the top, which acts as a space divider and candle holder.

Material Exploration

A Neem wood tree was organically carved with multiple layers of sculpturing and balanced on grey Granite boulders. It is perfect as a verandah furniture, to amplify the space with a natural extension.
